Although there are already a wide range of different and detailed Worldwide Brands reviews already published online, there are not many that compare WWB directly to it's competitors. So, in this short review and comparison, that's exactly what I plan to do.
Worldwide Brands is the largest of the paid wholesaler directories, with more than 9,000 suppliers and about 16 million products on offer at trade prices. All of the suppliers in Worldwide Brands are certified, which means that the directory editor at WWB has independently verified that they are legitimate and safe to trade with. Memberhsip is expensive at $299, but this is for lifetime access and there are no extra fees to pay.
The closest competitor to Worldwide Brands is Salehoo, a smaller directory of about 6,000 suppliers and around 2.5 million products. Suppliers in Salehoo are screened, which offers some protection from unreliable traders, and membership costs $67 per year. Doba is another alternative, but it only offers drop-shipped goods and there are fewer than 1 million of them available. Membership, even in the medium term, adds up to the most expensive at nearly $30 a month.
All three are worth looking at if you are trying to find new suppliers as they all offer st least some protection against unreliable wholesalers and drop shippers.
